Inspired by a pier near their Stockholm studio, Note Design Studio created the Pelagus collection in 2021. The design was intended to reflect the varied lifestyles of the Stockholm archipelago, blending cosmopolitan urbanism with a relaxed, nature-inspired aesthetic.

In 2025, Fritz Hansen expanded the collection with the addition of a high table and matching bar stool. The table, available in two height options, maintains the collection's sleek, modern, and airy design, with its aluminium base available in either ivory or hunter green.

Designed with functionality in mind, the table includes a dual-purpose hook beneath the table top that can be used to attach two or more tables together or simply for hanging a small bag.
